Moving to Middlesbrough?

The ‘Boro’ is home to some fantastic landmarks, a vibrant night-life and things to do. The most recognisable structure on the skyline is the Transporter Bridge, built in 1911 to carry vehicles and goods across the River Tees. In more modern times, the Riverside Stadium (home to Middlesbrough FC), the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (MIMA), and Teesside University have all cemented their place in local history. In terms of shopping, Captain Cooks Square, the Cleveland Centre and the Hillstreet Centre are home to all of the national highstreet stores. If you still can’t find what you need, just down the A66 (outside of Stockton-on-Tees), you’ll find Teesside Retail Park.

Along with a whole host of restaurants, pubs and bars, covering Linthorpe Road, Corporation Road and Baker Street, Middlesbrough also has some beautiful parks and open spaces. Built by the towns first mayor in 1868, Albert Park is located right next to the Albert Museum, and features a band stand, roller rink, Memorial Clock Tower, man made lake, playground and various statues and monuments. A little further out, and just around the corner from James Cook Hospital, you’ll find Stewart Park. Covering 120 acres, this idyllic public space is also home to the Askham Bryan College and the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum.

Middlesbrough is on the northern border of North Yorkshire; only a 20 minute drive from the sea at Redcar and just over the river from Stockton in County Durham. We do national removals as well, so if you’re moving long distance to Boro or the surrounding areas, why not enlist the local experts?
